The Bible teaches that we can be really and unquestionably free. We can be free of addictions! Free of bondage to sin! Free of legalism! Free of the things that hold us down or hold us back! Free of strongholds! Free of bad attitudes!
Free to love unconditionally! Free to worship unashamedly! Free to give unselfishly! Free to live supernaturally!
We see it in the Bible – we hear it in sermons – but then we look at our own lives and we don’t think we can be that free. All of a sudden it seems like an unattainable dream.
But, John 8:36 reminds us that if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.
