GFC Missions

One of the ways Grace Fellowship Church touches heaven and changes earth is through missions. In our worship center, you will see flags from all over the world. Each one of them represents a country where someone from GFC has gone either as a short term or long term missionary.

How does Grace Fellowship support missions?
We pray for a different missionary each week during the Sunday service. The last Sunday of every month is our “Mission Sunday” with a time of special focus on a particular missionary or mission need. We also have a Missions Grace Group that meets twice a month to pray for our missionaries and others around the world. Everyone is welcome, and those interested in coming can call the church office for information.

How does Grace Fellowship support GFC missionaries?
On Mission Sunday, GFC provides ‘mission envelopes’ with the GFC missionaries listed. Simply check the box of the missionary you wish to support through a one-time or monthly gift. Or, any Sunday write on the general offering envelope the amount you wish to give to a specific GFC missionary along with their name. GFC sends the designated funds to the designated missionaries.

What other ways is GFC involved in missions?
Grace Fellowship Church also encourages its members to take part in short term mission trips. GFC has organized several trips for members to go to Honduras as a team to serve in a slum area of Tegucigalpa with outreach, house building and food distribution.

GFC MISSIONARIES:

Brent & Laura Broillier

Brent and Laura Brollier serve with Pioneer Bible Translators.
Brent and Laura are missionaries in transition, preparing for a translation project in West Africa. They are currently in France for a year, fulfilling their language school requirement. Their goal is to be in West Africa by late spring, 2012. There they will create an alphabet for a local West African language, teach the people how to read, and translate the Bible into that language. This project will take them 15-30 years to accomplish. They will also be involved in evangelism and discipleship using various methods including oral Bible story-telling and Trauma/Healing workshops. Brent and Laura have two children, Ethan and Claire, now ages five and three.
