D7 Women's Ministry

The women’s ministry at Grace Fellowship is called D7 Women’s Ministry. “D7” refers to seven Godly characteristic we seek to develop in the lives of women. These seven characteristics are: Discipleship, Determination, Diligence, Dedication, Dependability, Diversity, and Deliverance. Under the guidance of Pastor Deborah Oakley, a leadership team oversees D7’s various ministries.

Our desire is for women to be transformed by the renewing of their minds and be empowered by the grace of Jesus Christ to walk through to victory in every area of their lives. We believe that: through increasingly understanding and applying the Word of God in our lives: our faith in God will grow; our relationship with God the Father and with others will be enriched; and our outward reflection of Christ will testify of Him. We believe that through our mutually encouraging support, prayer and accountability we can be healed of brokenness and be delivered from things that have hindered our maturing in Christ and our fulfilling the calling He has uniquely given to each one of us.

We are committed to providing women a variety of meaningful ministries in which they: feel accepted and secure; have a place where in confidence they can overcome the issues of life, have means to develop their relationship with Jesus Christ and each other; realize their God given gifts; and are equipped and released to serve His Kingdom according to His gifts and grace given.

In addition to other Grace Fellowship ministry opportunities available for women to attend and serve, D7 Women’s Ministry offers: a monthly women’s ministry breakfast called Power of a Story; a monthly prayer gathering called Ignite; a monthly single women’s fellowship; various ways of “Reaching Women Beyond our Walls” in our community; craft fellowships; periodic Bible studies and gift development training; and on occasion, fun social events - because we enjoy being together.
