Joe Oakley has a unique blend of life experiences that give him a powerful relevant ministry as a pastor and leader.

Joe grew up in a pastor’s home, so he has been involved in Church his entire life.  He did not plan to go into the ministry, but pursued a career in the Christian music and retail industry.  He was successful in both areas.  In fact, Joe once managed the Living Vine in Irving, Texas, which at that time was the largest Christian store in the world.

Joe felt a call into full-time ministry while attending Shady Grove Church in Grand Prairie, Texas.  He went back to school and earned a bachelor’s degree in Theology from Christian International University.  He became an elder at Shady Grove Church where he spent 5 years writing and editing a 7 book series entitled First Principles.

As Senior Pastor of Grace Fellowship Church, Joe is an excellent teacher and an exceptional leader.  His passions are to experience the presence of God, equip the people of God and extend the kingdom of God. He loves to raise up other leaders and release them into their calling and destiny.
