Kari Lowrie has over 30 years of children’s ministry experience. She has served as Children's Pastor at Shady Grove Church in Grand Prairie and the Grand Prairie campus of Gateway Church. Kari has also spent time teaching Kindergarten at Shady Grove Christian Academy as well as serving in many other aspects of children's ministry including worship dance, Sunday classes, Nursery and Preschool Coordinator.

Her passion is leading children and adults alike to discover the unconditional love that Jesus has for them and learning who God has created them to be! God is calling an army and they all start as children!

Kari and her husband Rickey Lynn met at Shady Grove Church in 1979 and have been married for over 40 years. They have a son and daughter-in-law, a daughter and son-in-law, six grandsons, and one granddaughter.

At Grace Fellowship Church, Kari has joyfully lead the Family Life preschool, elementary and teen ministries and currently serves as our Women's Pastor.
